Yossi Schneider – Real Estate Innovator and Founder of Groupies.Home
Yossi Schneider, a resident of Holon and proud father of three, has been active in the real estate industry for over eight years. Recently, he launched an innovative venture offering clients a social platform for forming buyer groups and purchasing apartments from developers under improved terms and pricing. The model is based first and foremost on the buyers’ financial capabilities and their eligibility for mortgage approval, aiming to save them hundreds of thousands of shekels on real estate purchases.
Schneider holds a bachelor’s degree in law with a specialization in taxation and real estate, is a certified real estate consultant in the commercial and project marketing sectors, and is a franchisee of Anglo-Saxon Bat Yam. He also owns a firm specializing in marketing real estate projects and advising developers on selling residential units across Israel.
Recently, Schneider partnered with attorney Danit Doan-Zion, an expert in real estate law, to establish Groupies.Home, a groundbreaking company that empowers apartment seekers to unite as purchasing groups in order to reduce costs. The company also provides access to discounted home-related services and products — from expert consultations to furnishing and mortgage assistance. The platform’s launch gained rapid traction, with over 100,000 visitors in its first week.
Groupies.Home works exclusively with developers backed by bank guarantees and offers buyers full protection via Sales Law Guarantees (Hok Mecher) for their investment.
A key advantage of the platform lies in the comprehensive support offered by a team of professionals, guiding each group from the moment of formation to the final handover of the apartment. This includes legal assistance, coordination of changes, exclusive bank benefits, budget planning, and more.
How is Groupies.Home different from traditional purchase groups?
Schneider explains:
“We reduce housing costs by forming focused buyer groups with shared characteristics and needs. These groups act as a powerful purchasing force, giving them a significant advantage over individual buyers.”
He further clarifies:
“This is not a classic purchase group. We’re not talking about pooling money to buy land and launching a project from scratch — with all the risks that entails. Buyers today want assurance and security. That’s why we only work with developers who have bank guarantees. This is not another ‘Inbal Or’ story that collapses midway.”
The Groupies.Home model is aimed at people who want to purchase apartments together in active, under-construction projects, often in high-demand urban areas. But the platform doesn’t stop at property — it offers unprecedented value by enabling group discounts on furniture, appliances, architectural services, and more — all at near cost price.
Groupies.Home, now live at groupieshome.co.il, offers significant savings on apartment purchases, mortgage terms, and transaction fees — and continues to grow rapidly.
Among the venture’s high-profile partners is renowned businesswoman and media personality Yafit Greenberg (professionally known as G. Yafit).
“We approached her with the concept,” says Schneider, “and she immediately connected with the vision and became a partner. She has developed several buildings herself in central Israel and brings invaluable expertise in marketing and entrepreneurship.”
