Yossi Schneider – Founder of Groupies.Home
Yossi Schneider, a resident of Holon and a proud father of three, has been active in the real estate industry for over eight years. He recently launched an innovative venture offering customers a social platform to form purchasing groups and buy apartments from contractors at improved terms and prices. The model is primarily based on the buyers' financial capabilities and their eligibility for mortgage approval, aiming to save them hundreds of thousands of shekels on real estate purchases.
Schneider holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with a specialization in taxation and real estate, is a certified real estate consultant in commercial marketing and projects, and is a franchisee of Anglo-Saxon Bat Yam. Additionally, he owns a company specializing in marketing real estate projects and advising developers on selling housing units nationwide.
Establishing Groupies.Home
Recently, Schneider partnered with Adv. Danit Doan-Zion, an expert in real estate law, to establish Groupies.Home – a groundbreaking company that allows apartment seekers to band together as purchasing groups to reduce costs. The company also provides access to home services and products at discounted rates – ranging from professional consulting to furniture and mortgage assistance. The platform's launch quickly gained momentum, with over 100,000 visitors in its first week.
Groupies.Home works exclusively with developers backed by bank guarantees and offers buyers full protection for their investments through Sales Law guarantees (Arvut Chok Mecher). A major advantage of the platform lies in the comprehensive support provided by a team of professionals, guiding each group from the initial formation stage to the final handover of the apartment. This includes:
- Legal assistance
- Coordination of modifications
- Exclusive benefits from banks
- Budget planning and more
How does Groupies.Home differ from traditional purchasing groups?
Schneider explains: “We lower housing costs by creating targeted buyer groups with shared characteristics and needs. These groups constitute significant purchasing power, giving them a distinct advantage over individual buyers.”
He adds: “This is not a classic purchasing group. It’s not about pooling funds to buy land and build a project from scratch – with all the associated risks. Today's buyers want security and certainty. Therefore, we work exclusively with developers who provide bank guarantees. This is not another ‘Inbal Or’ story that collapses midway.”
A Complete Ecosystem in One Place
The Groupies.Home model is designed for people interested in jointly purchasing apartments in active projects under construction, often in high-demand urban areas. But the platform doesn't stop at real estate – it offers unprecedented value by enabling group discounts on furniture, electrical appliances, architectural services, and more – all at near-cost prices.
Groupies.Home, already active at groupieshome.co.il, offers significant savings on apartment purchases, mortgage terms, and transaction costs – and continues to grow rapidly. Among the prominent partners in the venture is the renowned businesswoman and media personality Yafit Greenberg (professionally known as "G. Yafit").
“We approached her with the concept,” says Schneider, “and she immediately connected with the vision and became a partner. She herself has initiated several buildings in the center of the country and brings invaluable knowledge and experience in marketing and entrepreneurship.”
